1. Persuasive Essay (art in schools)
Check with Mr. R. or Incomplete
If you were to travel back in time to the 18th century you would see that many classrooms did not have breakfast programs, libraries, (well maybe a book shelf or two) or even air conditioning( unless you cont an open window… that is if they had a window). Now in the 21st century we do… NOT HAVE ANY OF THOSE SO CALLED LUXERIES!!! So I am asking you kindly to help me improve this already great school.
If you were to visit my miniature school library
You would find a very minute selection of books to pick from. The reason my classmates and I need a larger verity of books is because with a bigger selection, my classmates and I would be able to expand our speech and reading skills. Another great thing about a bigger library would be helpful for would be to study from and to gather information for essays and other writing projects. One of the best advantages about a bigger library would be that it could triple as study room, computer room, and of course a library.
Something else my school can advance on would be the air conditioning system. One the reasons my school can improve on the air conditioner is because during very hot days of the year, my classmates and I are boiling and can not put are full attention on our work because it is so hot. The next reason my school can improve by fixing the air conditioning system is because many kid’s can become dizzy, dehydrated or even faint from the heat.
When you wake up in the morning what is the first thing you smell? Breakfast of course, but many kids today don’t eat a healthy breakfast because there parents have to work. One of the ways my school can improve with a breakfast program is because studies show that kids who eat a healthy breakfast do better in school. Another reason a breakfast program would make a good addition to my school is because if you eat an assume breakfast you do assume in school because they have energy to stay awake in class.
Although my school is already great, I am going to need your help to make it not something to be proud but something to be inspired.

4. summery #1The Dog of Pompeii:
Summarized
The story “The Dog of Pompeii” by Louis Untermeyer takes place at the great and ancient city of Pompeii. The two main characters in the story are Titio, a blind boy, and his dog, Bimbo.
Titio and his dog have a very strong relationship, since they are friends, instead of one owning the other.
Every morning Titio wakes up to the bread bimbo has brought him for breakfast. Soon after breakfast they take a stroll through the city and enjoy the many, not sights, but sounds and smells. After that they settle down some were to take a nap. Then Titio wakes up to a lunch Bimbo has mysteriously brought him. Then they take another walk and find a place for the night. This is how every day pretty much goes for them.
The next morning everything changes. M.T. Vesuvius has erupted with great force. Instead of breakfast, Titio wakes up to bimbo biting him awake. Soon both of them are running away from the burning buildings. Then when Titio felt like he could not run any more they reach the safety of the beach. Then Titio knocked out. He awoke to two men pulling him onto a boat. There was one problem though, Bimbo was no were to be found. “BMIBO” he shouted, but nothing answered him. Years later historical archeologists discover a dog incased in ash with a piece of bread in its mouth.
,#2AGLAL BLOOMS
What could be killing the whales off the Cape Cod? The answer is algal blooms or red tides. Algal blooms are a swarm of algae, they grow to even bigger numbers when there is a increase in food or temperature change. Algae are tiny fish that float on top of the water and use light from the sun to make there food. Some of the species produce a deadly toxin. Since the whales eat the algae they also eat the toxin and die. due on 11 /19/08
