Thank you ma’m helen pikeThis story is about a woman who teaches a young man a very important life lesson.once there was a large woman named mrs. luella bates washington jones. and this woman would allways carry a large purse full of everything.one night when the large woman was walking home alone at about 11:00 pm, a young man no older than 15 tried to snatch her purse.but when he tried to snatch it the purse was so heavy that he lost his ballence and fell over.the large woman then picked him by his shirt, told him he needed to wash his face, and dragged him to her house.when they got to the house the lady made him wash his face and made him dinner. as thry were eating dinner the boy told the lady that he wanted the money from her purse so that he could buy himselve a new pair of swayed shoes.after he told her that she gave him a very important lesson on respect, honesty and trust. he left the house and just before she closed the door he said thank you ma'm. helen pike
