multitasking

Multitasking

Do you think multitasking is healthy? Or do you think multitasking saves time? Well that’s not true at all. Both of those things I just asked are very un-healthy for you body. And if you are trying to avoid stress then you need to stop multitasking. And you may not know this but multitasking is an illusion.

Do you want to know how multitasking is an illusion? Well, all you are doing is switching one task to another so fast that you think that you are doing more than one thing at a time. So you are really never multitasking.

Did you ever think that multitasking can waste your time? You may not know it but multitasking wastes your time. When you multitask you most of the time has to run back and forth having to do task after task. Then you begin to get tired of running bake and forth. Then you walk very slowly. You would have been better doing one at a time.

And lastly it is not healthy at all. UN less you like stress then doesn’t stop multitasking. But if you are trying to avoid stress. All you are doing when you multitask is running bake and forth. Then your head will hurt and legs, arms, and more.

But multitasking won’t always be bad. It can let you know that you you can switch from one task to another very fast that you begin to have an illusion.

But un-less it’s a routine you can multitask but if you multitask to much it can cause stress. That’s why it should be a routine.

MULTITASKING

Do you think multitasking is easier? Do you think it saves time? Well Dr. Edward M hallowell, a psychologist doesn’t.
The reason that he doesn’t is because when you think that you are multitasking you are really not your actually losing time because it takes longer to switch between each subject. Dr. Hallowell also said that you should only multitask if it is a routine and once it demands more attention your brain gets a severe bottle neck.
Dr. Hallowell said multitasking is an illusion. When you do more than one thing at a time your not multitasking your justswitching from one thing to another so fast that you think you are multitasking.
You may say that it saves you time but, it is taking longer because you loose your focus so easily and when you go back to a different subject you forget what you are doing. For an example when you are e-mailing and texting at the same time one of th people that you are talking to feels like you are not there because you have already lost your focus while talking to someone else.
Dr. Edward M. Hallowell has done reasearch on this and ha reasons to belive that it is true.
