I chose elizabeth stanton because she made great strides in women rights. She really wanted women to be able to vote because she knew in her heart that they where no less important than men. She was the president of the National American Woman Suffrage Association. She also helped eqaul rights for women to leave marriages like equal rights to childre.






















Historic Figures on Currency




Washington: Washington is on the dollar bill because, he was a terrific president. He gave great advice in the farewell address such as to avoid political parties and foreign affairs. He fought as a great general for our nation and is one of the best presidents we ever had.

Jefferson: Thomas Jefferson is on the two dollar bill because he was the author of the declaration of independence and he was a great inventor and scientist. He also doubled the size of the United States with the Louisiana Purchase.

Lincoln: President Lincoln is on the five dollar bill because he fought for slaves to be free. He was the president of the civil war and he cared for all people in America not just white people.

Hamilton: Hamilton is on the ten dollar bill because his ideas about government were the heart of the Republican Party. He also was the leader of the Federalist Party.

Jackson: Andrew Jackson is on the twenty dollar bill because he was the people’s president. He was the first president that was elected in office without any political background or a great education.

Garfield: Garfield is on the fifty dollar bill because he was the general of the north in the civil war. Garfield was in congress for seventeen years and fought for President Andrew Johnson to be impeached.

Franklin: Benjamin Franklin is on the one hundred dollar bill because he was one of the founding fathers of the United States and he served as Postmaster General in the Continental Congress.

Susan B. Anthony: Susan Anthony is on the silver dollar because she was leader of the women rights movement and tried to get women the right to vote. She even got arrested for trying to vote.
