Television violence should be taken off the air for many reasons. One of which is that television can influence young kids, either in a negative or positive. Also,because if kids do not comprehend what they see they may begin to immitate it. Lastly,becuase if kids watch too much television, then they may begin to believe what they see even if it is not true.
Television can have a strong influence on kids whether or not if it is positive or negative. I alone do not believe this, over 80% of Americans believe this. THe AACP states that kids that watch more televison are more influnced by others.
Also becuase if kids watch tv that they do not comprehend they may begin to believe what they see even if it is not true.
