~ ♥ Brielle's Draft ♥ ~

Draft
TV violence should be limited, so kids don't immitate what they see on TV or even in movies. It not just the kid's fault for watching the violence, it's the parent's because they let them watch the violence. Parents need to advise what thier child is watching to protect them from the violence.

TV violence needs to be limited. If TV networks could stop showing the violence & innapropreate shows, they can help limit violence with kids. Even if they have to make the violence shows prime time, they should. Kids don't need thiss sort of influence. When adults watch this kind of stuff, they know it's not right, but kids are young. They think "Well, it's on TV, so I guess its okay." The truth is, its not.

When kids watch so much violence, they start to get use to seeing it. Because they're seeing innocent people get hurt, after a while they can watch this sort of stuff without feeling the victom's pain. On shows people sometimes hurt the person to get back at the other him, so kids think violence is the answer.

Another problem is when kids watch violence, they renact what they saw. When younger kids watch shows like Power Rangers, they hurt others with some Power Ranger fighting moves. Or when they watch Spiderman, thye think people who give them problems should stop bothering them by hurting them. Parents should remind therir kids that whats happening during Power Rangers, Spiderman, or anything isn't real.

Although, sometimes parent can't control what their child is watching. Sometimes they're at work, so they can't prove that their child was even watching channel. Another thing is that a show without any violence might have an episode with violence. Sometime parents don't know whats coming.

However, parents can stop them from watching the violence by telling their kids they're not allowed to watch those kind of shows & movies. Even if their kid goes to their friend's house to watch a movie, the parent should find out what they're going yo watch to see it's appropreate or not.

In conclusion, parents need to advise what their children are watching. Violence should be limited on TV & movies. If there's anyway to prevent kids from watching violence it should be used.
