I interpret the function of school as giving knowledge to students. As simple as that, no more and no less. Giving knowledge is one of best things you can do, because it’s like all purpose flour; it’s not specific to a recipe but you could do anything you want with it. If school didn’t teach anything to you why would you want to go to school? All of the other reasons are not wrong just specific, like I said before only this time it’s like giving the students a recipe for brownies. Yes, there are some ways can you twist it but you can only change it so much. So, if you were to analyze the life of a regular adult, you would find out that knowledge is a key factor in the structure of their professional life
