Brittany: Why our school should get grass

With grass at school there could be less injuries like scratching your arm or leg from falling on the blacktop. With grass there would be less injurys at school. Also with grass P.E. would be safer Lastly with grass parents might choose the school because it has more appeal. Those are the reasons why are school needs grass.
With grass at scool there could be less injurys.Well your probably thinking is this true or not. Actually its both. With grass kids can't get there arm scratched up but you can still break your arm or leg.Also with grass P.E. won't hurt as much if you fall. Finally with grass it would be easier to run on because you won't have to worry about falling. Those are the reasons why the school would have less injurys with grass.
Now talking about P.E. it is sometimes not safe whether its to hot or your running on a hard surface like cement or a blacktop.Yes grass is hard but its not as hard as a blacktop.One reason why P.E. would be safer is its like a cushion because if you fall it wont hurt as much. Another reason is that with grass it wouldn't be so hot because the black in the blacktop attracts the sun and when you get to hot you can get sick.Lastly grass would be easier to run on because you wont worry about falling on the blacktop.Thats why with grass P.E. would be easier.
The final reason our school should have grass is to make it have more appeal and look safer. One reason why schools should get grass is it would make the school look better instead of having dead grass and dead trees. Another reason is some parents dont want there kids to go to a school thats less appealing than other schools.The last reason is black tops are made with petroleum products which aren't earth friendly so parents dont want to choose a school thats not earth friendly. Thats the final reason why our school would be better with grass.
Other people say its to expensive to put in and to take care of the grass. So thats why some schools dont have grass because its to expensive but if we put grass in it would soon pay for itself because not that many injuries would occur at school.
