The author said that african american kids are told myths how black people aren't as good as white people and when they listen to rap music which says their violent, illiterate and drug dealers they think its right so they do it. African American teenagers who think this is true end up bebing bad people like drug dealers.
Unfortunatlly it has evovled into worshiping mosogyny materialism and murder which isn't a good thing.Two big rappers were killed because they had provoked a real world gang war by recordings to insult and to threaten rivals. People who don't pay a lot of attention to rap music thought that all of this would end when they saw what happened but it didn't.
