We need to create a context where young girls are confident doing science and math.
Most teachers and parents say that if young girls don’t have an interest in math or science that there is nothing to about it. Parents make a huge impact on whether or not girls are interested in science or math. The president of Harvard said that the reason why women are not going into science or math careers is because they spend too much time with their family.

Teachers and parents are saying that if girls don’t have interest in science or math that there is nothing to about it. If we create a program it will work on giving girls more confidence on their math and science skills. Many young girls see math as difficult when in the program it will seem easy. If they feel they can do it, then they are comfortable and interested in math.

The president of Harvard says that the reason women don’t chose science or math professions is because they need to stay home with their families. Although it starts when they are young girls affected by their parents attitude.

Parents make a huge impact on whether or not their daughters like math or science. Studies found that parents spend more time buying math or science toys for boys than girls. They also spend more time doing math and science activities with boys. We all know that girls can do as well as boys. But the parent’s attitude pushes the girls away from it. That is why we need a program for young girls so that when they are younger they can be interested in math and not be pushed away.

In conclusion we should have programs for girls so they will be interested in science and math.
