The gift of magi

The story the gift of magi is about a poor women who wants to buy a gift for Christmas and she only has $1.80. She cried on the couch because She can’t buy a gift for $1.80. Jim has a beautiful watch and she has beautiful hair. The only thing she wants to do is buy at least one present for his son Jim for only $1.87. It was a day before Christmas and she still has $1.87. Now it’s Christmas and she never bought anything for him.

Appreciate what you have. In the beginning the fir tree has everything however he is not happy because he is not tall. When he got decorated he got happy for a moment. Then he got sad again and still didn’t appreciate it.
The fir tree has everything like sun, fresh air, and friends. Although, he never appreciates what he had around him. He wished he was a boat for he could ship all over the world. He wants to e tall too.
In the end of the story he gets chopped down and they burned him, and he regrets what he had and never appreciated it so he can’t value it anymore. He is fire wood now.
He should have appreciated what he had with him and around him but he was too late and he is fir wood now. He had everything he could think of he had the sun and the fresh air. His only dream for him to come true is to be taller like his friends and be a ship.
My opinion of the story the fir tree is he has to appreciate what he has now until it’s too late for him. He has to live his life how it is now no matter if he’s short and not a ship. Just appreciate what you have and like it the way it is.
