Question: Does swimming with clothes affect or take away energy?
Purpose: I love swimming so i wanted to see what type of things can affect swimming.
Hypothesis: Is that probably most likely that it takes away more energy because the drag make you slow down so you try to put more energy.

question: does air resistance affect planes in flight?
purpose: i want to know what will happen to planes under air resistance.
hypothesis: i believe the paper air plane not under air resistance will travel faster
subject of back round research: air pressure
procedure: first you turn on the fan to low breeze. next, you throw the the paper air planes at the same strength.after that you record the data and repeat the tests two more times and record the data.
materials:paper, pencils, fan, poster board, computer, books, magazines.
type of graph:line graph
obsticals: it may be different data
estimated time of finish: may 17

Question: How does spin change the motion of the pendulum?
Perpose: To know the spin of the motion of the pendulum
Hypothesis: get some numbers for how fast the spin is
Subject of background reasearch: What makes a curve ball curve
Procedure : going to use a baseball and wrap it around it and tie a string around the rubber band
Materials:

how water float in water? i am doing this type of experiment because i want to learn more. the end of my experiment is going to be put in 4 cups one with water other with juice and the third one is going to have soda the forth one is co lade. and put some ice and going to be the answer of the question that i make and the water is going to float in water and be fresh with the drink. the part of the water is salty even the rain is salty because it has chemicals and the mountain water is fresh and tasty. first i am going to put the topic then the question and write the information. the materials is going to be four cups, ice, and soda, col aid, and juice. pictures about the result. i am planing to do my experiment on Friday night.

Question: How fast is your reaction time?

Purpose: To show how your fast reaction time can be.
Hypothesis: I think with a slowerigger object(softball) will take longer to react to, then with a lighter and faster object(baseball).
Subject of Background research: Reaction Time
Procedure: Throw the same object 3 times.
Materials: Basball, Softball, and Tennis ball
Type of Graph: Table

Obstacles to Overcome: To not hurt anyone.

Question: Would a plant grow faster if it was given tap water or distilled water?
Purpose: To see if a plant would grow faster with different water types
Hypothesis: I think the one with tap water would grow faster because it has more ingredients in it.
Subject of background research: Water and Plants
Procedure: Getting planting materials and planting the plants and to keep it growing and collect data.
Materials: Two flower pots;Seed soil;Flower seed packets(2);Distilled water;Tap water;Sun
Type of Graphs: line graph
Obstacles: They need to grow; and cant get mixed up
When i plan to finish: when the flowers done growing or by the time i need to turn it in.

what angle must my ping pong catapult be to launch a pin pong ball and a golf ball? this will help me learn about air currents and drag so i know how to learn about flight.for the golf ball i think it will take like 45 degrees and the ping pong ball like 90 degrees. the subject of my background research is aerodynamic drag and air currents.first i will make the catapult then i will get a golf ball and a ping pong ball i will take the weight of each and try 4 or 5 trials.i will need iron rubber bands pin protractor and a thing i can measure the length how far it goes.i will use a line plot so i can see trial 1 20 degrees 2 ft and plot it.i will take pictures of the balls i am using so i can show you and the catapult at different angles.i will also take a video of all of it. the obstacles i must overcome are the wind the weight and the weather. SOON I AM READY!!!!!!!
